VOLUNTEER

The Downtown Raleigh Alliance is seeking volunteers to help with the 5th Annual Downtown Raleigh Home Tour on Saturday, May 16, 2009. The self-guided tour will feature over twenty residential properties (condos, apartments, single family) in the Downtown area.

Volunteers serve as greeters or docents at the various homes on the Tour. No previous experience required—we’ll provide the training. The Tour runs from 11 am to 5 pm.  Volunteers can choose to work the first session shift (10:30 am - 2 pm), the second session shift (1:30 pm - 5 pm) or both shifts (10:30 am - 5 pm).

We’ll provide you with lunch, a t-shirt, and a ticket to the Tour that can be used before or after your volunteer shift (does not apply for volunteers working both sessions). As a volunteer, you are also invited to a volunteer appreciation reception (more details to follow). You can’t beat free food and drinks!

There will be a brief orientation session scheduled during the week of May 11th (more details to follow).  Please plan to attend.
