Advises the staff and Board on the development of plans and programs that seek to improve downtown living. Current work program will focus on the 2009 Downtown Raleigh Home Tour.

Advises the staff and Board on the development of plans and programs that seek to improve the downtown economy. The committee will be working on a retail recruitment strategy in 2008 and 2009.

Marketing

Advises the staff and Board on plans and programs that promote a positive image of downtown Raleigh and the organization. The committee has helped in the development of a branding campaign to be launched at the 2009 Annual Meeting.

Membership

Advises the staff and Board on programs that increase our membership levels. The committee is currently implementing a recruitment campaign targeting professional services firms in downtown, with a retention effort culminating in the spring of 2009.
