The Raleigh Amphitheater and Festival Site opened in early June 2010.
The 5,500-seat, open-air amphitheatre is located across from the Raleigh Convention Center’s Cree shimmer wall at McDowell and Cabarrus streets. The new entertainment venue will add significant concerts and festivals to the thriving downtown scene.
The amphitheatre is owned and operated by the City of Raleigh. Live Nation, the largest live entertainment company in the world, will be scheduling 15 to 20 concerts per season for the venue.
