4th Annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial

Associated Street Closures:
The group will assemble at 8 am. The parade will start at 10:30 am at the corner of Hillsborough and St. Mary’s Streets, proceed east on Hillsborough Street to Dawson Street, south on Dawson Street to Martin Street where the parade will end at Nash Square. Fire trucks will be staged on Hillsborough Street to Mayo Street and on St. Mary’s Street from Morgan to Jones Streets. At the end of the parade, trucks will park around Nash square. The group will need to close off one lane of traffic on Dawson, West Martin, and Wilmington Streets for the whole day as well as the 200 block of West Hargett Street in front of city hall. The group will keep one lane of the 200 block of West Hargett Street open for Raleigh police to come and go from their station. The group will also close one and a half lanes in the 100 block of West Hargett Street and Dawson Street to park one of the fire trucks.
