Beat the Heat Story Hour

Location: Raleigh City Museum

On Saturday, June 6 at 2:00p.m., cool off with the Raleigh City Museum during our Beat the Heat Story Hour! Families will come listen to favorite stories such as T is for Tarheel: A North Carolina Alphabet by Carol Crane, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, and Who Sees the Lighthouse? by local author Ann Fearrington. Afterwards kids will create their own caterpillars to take home as a souvenir of their visit. This program is appropriate for ages 4-9, though children of all ages are welcome.
