The Raleigh Ensemble Players Theatre Company opens its 29th Season with BUG by Tracy Letts.
A psychological thriller set in an Oklahoma hotel room, BUG centers on the meeting of Agnes--a divorced waitress with a fondness for drugs and isolation--and Peter--a quiet Gulf War drifter introduced to Agnes by her lesbian friend, R.C. As they reveal their secrets and fears, Agnes and Peter discover they are not the only inhabitants of the room. From the creator of KILLER JOE, an audience favorite produced by REP in 2005. Letts is also the author of August: Osage County for which he won the Pulitzer Prize in 2008.
Performance Dates: October 22, 23, 28, 29, 30; November 4, 5, 6,. 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 at 8pm, October 31 at 7:30 (Halloween Show), November 7 & 14 at 7pm (Special Early Curtain)
