Take a historic downtown stroll with man’s best friend as we introduce Capital Canines, our first-ever walking tour for people and their dogs. On Saturday, April 17, from 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m., we will explore downtown Raleigh on this pet friendly outing. This tour expands beyond Fayetteville Street and explores the city’s original five squares and surrounding landmarks established in 1792. Owners will clean up after their dogs and bring water for them as well. Dogs must be up to date on all vaccines and get along with other dogs and people. Dogs with behavioral issues will not be permitted on the tour. Admission is $15 per dog belonging to a non-member, and $10 per dog owned by a museum member. Space is limited. Payment for the event may be made by cash, check, or credit card. We will only accept cash or check the day of the event. In the case of inclement weather, your money will be refunded. Call (919)832-3775 for more details and to RSVP today!
