The North Carolina Museum of History invites you to come and listen to Robert Reedy, Underwater Archaeology Consultant as he tells us the story of the Whydah Gallery on May 30th from 2 – 3 pm. Launched as a slave ship and later captured by pirates, the Whydah Galley was laden with treasure when it sank in a storm off Cape Cod in 1717. Hear the fascinating story of its discovery.
