Featured Charity:
Change the Triangle: We are the volunteer organization for young adults in the Raleigh area. Change the Triangle members participate in a monthly volunteer event combined with a social event that is completely planned and organized ahead of time. The goal of our organization is to give young adults a way to become involved with the local community in a fun, relaxed social setting with minimal time commitment.
Guest Speakers:
Mary-Ann Baldwin- For more than 20 years, Mary-Ann Baldwin has called Raleigh home. She has raised a family and built a professional career here. She has given her time and talents to help build a better community. Mary-Ann has brought a new style of leadership and a “can do” attitude to the Raleigh City Council. As a marketing and communications professional with more than 25 years of experience, she understands business principles such as communication, customer service and team work.
Paul Reimel- Paul secured a BA degree in Political Science and History at the Albright College. He is currently the Economic Development Manager for Downtown Raleigh Alliance.
Jason Long- A North Carolina native, Jason has been practicing real estate in Raleigh for over 16 years. In the fall of 2008, Jason co-founded RtownLiving, a real estate team focused on the growth and development of "inside-the-beltline" Raleigh after seeing an opportunity for a new breed of real estate agent. This new breed is one with modern, creative marketing ideas who focuses on the clients' needs first. Jason, an NC State graduate, is honored to continue to call downtown Raleigh his home and to give back to the place that has taught him so much. Jason is a valued contributor to the Downtown Living Advocates.
Partners:
No Regret Productions- No Regret Productions offers versatility in musical entertainment and production services that will give your event a certain spark to ignite a dynamic celebration.
RtownLiving- Rtown is all about where we live, work, and play. Rtown is Raleigh and we hope it's your town too. RtownLiving is everything that makes up the Raleigh lifestyle, and the RtownLiving team is the new face of downtown Raleigh. It takes a lot to become downtown specialists in a city that's growing and developing so rapidly. But our all star team of hospitality experts, social networking professionals, real estate agents, and downtown Raleigh activists stay in the loop with the downtown lifestyle.
Blissful Mind Wellness Group- Blissful Mind Wellness Group, PC approaches mental wellness from an integrative health and whole living treatment prospective. We offer a variety of services including psychotherapy, group and individual therapy, wellness coaching, and integrative wellness packages.
B4man Consulting- Brian spent the first 17 years of his professional life working in a program driven organization, where silos were an easy way of doing business. But easy is not best, and we had to work hard at connecting our areas of influence among 1000 volunteer members. Ideas were the glue that held us together, even the discarded ideas served the purpose of drawing us together. From that experience, I realized that organizations need ideas. Ideas that bridge gaps within and to the community. Ideas that create new programs, curriculums and initiatives. Ideas that build new products. Ideas and creativity are a new capital, does your organization have enough?
