FREE Saturday Symphony Concert

FREE Concert courtesy of the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, the City of Raleigh, Wake County, and the North Carolina Symphony - "What Makes Music MUSIC around the world?" 

This concert features music of some of the greatest composers of all time. Come celebrate the Memorial Day weekend with your family and enjoy the masterful works of Claude Debussy, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and George Gershwin.

Resident Conductor William Henry Curry will utilize the five fundamentals of classical music: melody, tempo, texture, rhythm, and dynamics in pieces which reflect diverse cultures of the world. This performance is a perfect introduction to the North Carolina Symphony and the world of classical music, in a setting that is well-suited for children and adults alike.

The concert will last approximately one hour.
