Gala for Hope

Presented by Raleigh Jaycees

Location: Raleigh City Museum

Date: Saturday April 26th, 2008
Time: 7 pm-11 pm

The Gala for Hope is the Raleigh Jaycees effort to benefit the North Carolina Jaycees Outpatient Treatment Facility at the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center. In response to the growing number of outpatients but limited space for a comfortable recovery Jaycees from across the state started to help the facility through fundraising. Since1987, the North Carolina Jaycees have continued their service to the facility by raising money and support to aid the Cancer Center in making “life easier” for patients and their families.

This semi-formal event features dinner, dancing and a silent auction and promises to transport the guests to 1940’s nostalgia. Swing Street will provide live music and a catered dinner by The Irregardless Café & Catering. The silent auction will provide a variety of items individuals can bid on ranging from airline tickets to a Durham Bulls fun pack.

Gala for Hope tickets are available online at www.gala.raleighjaycees.org or by sending a check or money order to Gala for Hope Tickets, Raleigh Jaycees, Post Office Box 20244 Raleigh, NC 27619.  Tickets are $40 per person and all proceeds from this fundraiser support the North Carolina Jaycees Outpatient Treatment Facility at the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center.
