Great Raleigh Road Race
Location: Downtown Raleigh
Date: Saturday July 4th, 2009
Time: 4 Miler (8 am); 1 Mile Fun Run (9 am); 100 Yard Kid's Dash (9:15 am)

The race starts and finishes on th 100 block of Hillsborough Street.
Associated Street Closures:
The group will assemble in the 100 block of Hillsborough Street. At 8 am the runners will proceed west on Hillsborough Street to Hawthorn Road, north on Hawthorn Road to Park Drive, east on Park Drive to West Park Drive, north on West Park Drive to West Johnson Street, west on West Johnson Street, cross Peace Street, and continue on Bellwood Drive to Cameron Street, east on Cameron Street to Smallwood Drive, south on Smallwood Drive to Peace Street, east on Peace Street to St. Mary's Street, south on St. Mary’s Street to Park Drive, west on Park Drive to West Park Drive, south on West Park Drive to Hillsborough Street, east on Hillsborough Street and return to the start/finish.
In addition, there will be a one mile run starting as soon as the four mile race is over. Runners will start on the 100 block of Hillsborough Street, proceed west to just before St. Mary’s Street where they will turn around and return to the start/finish line.
Both races will be finished by approximately 9:30 am and the start/finish area will be cleared by 11 am.
