The Harlem String Quartet brings to Raleigh its pioneering mission: advancing diversity in classical music while engaging first-time audiences through a repertoire that highlights works by minority composers. The quartet, comprised of First Place Laureates of the Sphinx Competition, has won accolades from critics for its “panache” and “groundbreaking” appeal.
