North Carolina Museum of History Associate Curator, Sandy Webbere will be talking about Christmas in the 1940’s on December 9th from 12:10 – 1 p.m. During World War II, Christmas brought dreams of peace and wishes for normalcy in the midst of rationing and personal sacrifice. Learn about this memorable period in North Carolina’s past. Bring your lunch; beverages are provided.
