On Saturday, August 15 at 2:00p.m., come out to the Raleigh City Museum and experience an old-fashioned day at the picture show! Children will be able to see how movies were first made, watch clips of old films, and learn how Fayetteville Street was once a popular spot for moviegoers. Afterwards kids can make their very own flipbook movie to take home and enjoy. But, what’s an afternoon at the movies without popcorn? Popcorn will be provided for the children to enjoy. This program is appropriate for children of all ages. Admission is free. Call (919) 832-3775 ext. 23 with questions.
