NC Firemen's Association Parade
Location: Downtown Raleigh
Date: Saturday August 14th, 2010
Time: 10 am- 11 am
Associated Street Closures:
The parade will begin assembling at 8:30 am along the 00 through 300 blocks of South Salisbury Street. At 10:00 am they will begin the parade at the intersection of Morgan Street and Salisbury Street. They will proceed east on Morgan to Fayetteville, right onto Fayetteville, right onto Davie, left onto Salisbury, proceed south on Salisbury to Lenoir where the participants will disperse.
The following streets will be closed beginning at 8:30 to facilitate assembly. (Streets along the route will be closed at the start time.)
1)The 00 through 300 blocks of South Salisbury Street.
2)The 100 blocks of Hillsborough and West Morgan Streets.
3)The 00 and 100 blocks of West Martin and West Hargett Streets.
The following closure and encumbrance will occur to facilitate parking of the fire trucks after the parade.
1)Cabarrus Street from McDowell to Salisbury will be closed from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
2)All parking spaces on the west side of the 200, 300, 400 and 500 blocks of Salisbury Street.
