Race of Grace

Make plans to attend the 2008 Race of Grace on April 27, 2008. The 5k run/walk will be held on Sunday at 4 pm.
The 2007 event was a success—900 participants completed the 5k Run/Walk under sunny skies and warm temperatures.

Associated Street Closures:
Runners will assemble at the Edenton Street United Methodist Church at 228 West Edenton Street. At 4 pm the runners will proceed west on Edenton Street to Hillsborough Street. They will proceed west on Hillsborough Street and turn around at Horne Street returning to the church along the same route.
Both the westbound and eastbound lanes of Hillsborough Street will be utilized. A detour route will be established for Hillsborough Street traffic.
The 200 block of W Edenton Street, between Dawson and McDowell Streets, will be closed from 3 pm until 5 pm.
