Raleigh Dance Theatre's Spring Repertoire

Mary LeGere, Artistic Director, of Raleigh Dance Theatre (RDT) announces the spring 2008 season. Raleigh Dance Theatre will present its annual Spring Repertoire performances on Saturday, March 29, at 2 pm and 7 pm, in Fletcher Opera Theater at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
This year’s Spring Repertoire features Swan Lake Act II, as well as the premiere of two new works; the first a classical ballet set to Brahms’, Serenade #1 in D, by Mary LeGere and a new modern work set by Raleigh School of Ballet faculty member and director of Saint Mary’s Orchesis Dance Theatre, Lisa Yount. Mary LeGere will also restage Bournonville Divertissements (2006), choreographed in the style of the legendary Danish choreographer Auguste Bournonville.
Cost: tickets $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door. Group rates are also available.
