Sponsored by The News & Observer, Time Warner Cable, Wachovia, United Arts and local foundations, the Raleigh Fine Arts Literary Contest Awards Ceremony will be held April 10th at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts. The dinner reception will be at 6 pm followed by the 7 program. Awards will go to winners from 9 Wake County public and private high schools, and First Lady Mary Easley will be the featured speaker. Entries from more than 850 students represented 19 high schools.
