ReConStruction, the 10th Occasional North American Science Fiction Convention, will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center, August 5-8, 2010.  Additional functions will be held in the adjoining Raleigh Marriott City Center and the Sheraton Raleigh Downtown.

ReConStruction’s guests of honor are Eric Flint, Brad W. Foster, Juanita Coulson, and Toni Weisskopf.  The convention will feature panel discussions on a wide variety of topics, including art, literature, costuming, gaming, and science, exploring the various ways people enjoy science fiction and fantasy through various media.  The convention will include an art show, dealers, fan groups from around the country and abroad, gaming, and costume presentations.  We will also be presenting the 25th Annual Chesley Awards, the peer awards of the Association of Science Fiction & Fantasy Artists.
 

Full-weekend membership is $120 in advance, $140 at the door.  Youth 25 years and under can get a full membership for $95, while children 7-12 are $30 and children 6 and under are free, but must be accompanied by an adult.  Daily memberships are $30 for Thursday, $50 for Friday or Saturday, and $30 for Sunday.
