Rethinking Slavery and Freedom in Early Virginia and the British Atlantic

The North Carolina Museum of History welcomes Professor Holly Brewer, N. C. State University, to discuss the struggle between English authorities and colonists in the 1690s over issues of sovereignty, such as the powers of owners over enslaved individuals.
