On Saturday, March 12, the City of Raleigh, Parks and Recreation Department will hold the Run for the Oaks. All proceeds go towards planting trees in Raleigh, the City of Oaks.
Associated Street Closures:
At 8:30 am the runners will start on South Person Street at Moore Square Park, proceed north on Person Street to Wake Forest Road, continue north and turn left onto Chestnut Street, left onto Mordecai Drive, right onto Delway Street, left onto Blount Street, left onto Jones Street, right onto Person Street, right onto Edenton Street, left onto Blount Street, left onto Morgan Street, right on Person Street back to the start/finish line.
The 200 block of East Martin Street will be blocked beginning at 7:30 am.
The 200 and 300 blocks of South Person Street will be blocked beginning at 7:30 am.
