The SkirtChaser Race Series is an experience unlike any race you've run and any block party you've attended. Not only is it a brand new running race format, giving women a head-start on the men in a fun atmosphere, the entire event is innovative, from packet-pickup to the Block Party and all of its sponsors. From walkers to pro-runners, the SkirtChaser Race Series invites you to experience the most fun you've ever had while working out!
Associated Street Closures:
A portion of the 300 block of W North Street, west of Glenwood to a point just east of the public parking lot entrance, will be closed from 8 am on Saturday, May 23 until 2 am on Sunday, May 24 to facilitate the block party. The parking lot driveway will not be blocked except from 5 pm until 6 pm when the whole block of North Street will be closed for the road race.
The road race will begin at 5 pm and last until 6 pm. Runners will gather on the 300 block of W North Street proceed west and turn north on St. Mary’s to Park, west on Park to Hillcrest, south on Hillcrest to Hillsborough, west on Hillsborough to Oberlin, north on Oberlin to Clark, west on Clark to Pogue, south on Pogue to Hillsborough, east onto Hillsborough to Hillcrest, north on Hillcrest to Park, east on Park to St. Mary's, south on St. Mary’s to North, east on North back to the start/finish.
