Raleigh Sister Cities Association, a nonprofit, volunteer organization, will host its third annual International Holiday Market at the Shops at Seaboard on Saturday, December 10.  Proceeds will support elementary, middle and high school educational exchanges with Raleigh’s sister cities in Compiegne, France; Rostock, Germany; and Xiangfan, China.

The event will include tents for each sister city featuring delicacies of the regions: tea, hot cider, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh baked goods, crepes, chocolates, and a variety of specialty gift items.

Kris Kringle, straight from Germany, will join the fun and will be available to pose for photographs. Photographers will be asked to make a donation.

The event will also include a silent auction with gifts from local shops and live entertainment featuring local choral and dance groups. The Holiday Market is supported by the Downtown Raleigh Alliance.
