Saturday is kid’s day at the Raleigh City Museum! On Saturday, August 7, from 2:00p.m. to 3:00p.m., learn about the history of play through hands-on activities with the toys of our past. We will explore how toys have changed over time, how they were made and used, and talk about the toys of our future. Kids will get a chance to play historic games and make a buzz saw to take home. Buzz saws date back to the Colonial era and were a popular noisemaker that sounds like a buzzing saw. This easy to make toy is fun for all ages. Admission to this program is free.
