TRIANGLE’S TWO NEW NETWORKS HOST DOWNTOWN BLOCK PARTY
WHY: This fall WLFL-TV WB 22 and WRDC-TV UPN 28 will be launching two brand new television networks, The CW 22 and My RDC. This new adventure will take place in September. My RDC launches on September 5th, and The CW 22 launches on September 18th. Here at WLFL and WRDC we are very exited about this new opportunity, and we want to celebrate with a block party.
WHAT: WLFL-TV and WRDC-TV is throwing a big bash to celebrate two new television networks, and we want the public to help us celebrate this revolutionary event, In return they will be a part of the ground breaking of two brand new networks.
WHERE: The block party will take place at Moore Square Downtown Raleigh
WHEN: Saturday, September 9, 2006 from 4pm to 11pm.
ACTIVITIES: There will be something there for everyone. The fun will start at 5pm with a concert from Crush. At 8:45pm Mission Impossible III will be shown on the outdoor screen. We will have a kid’s corner with face painting, inflatables, clowns, and kids karaoke. Other activities will include television celebrity appearances, a visit from the Charlotte Bobcats, variety of vendors, and giveaways like a Flat Screen TV, $500 Visa Gift Card, Guitar, and Surround Sound System.
