Reservations Being Accepted for Homes in Raleigh’s Premier Downtown Neighborhood

(RALEIGH NC May 2, 2008)—Pre-construction reservations are now being taken for Row Homes and Carriage Homes being built by Raleigh builder Vanguard Homes, for its project in the Blount Street Historic District.

The Row Homes and Carriage homes at Blount Street Commons start in the low $300s and feature two bedrooms, garages, stainless steel appliances hardwood floors in the main living areas, gas cooktops, quartz countertops, balconies and open floor plans. The Row Homes, which are the first row homes to be built in the Triangle, will face the new public park area and each will have a private front garden with an open view facing the park. The Row House is accessed from the rear and each home has its own garage, providing homeowners with private parking.

The Carriage Houses will be built above two-car garages. The Carriage House area will be landscaped and second floor terraces and balconies will create outdoor living space. Some units offer private courtyards.

In keeping with the historic character of the neighborhood, the Row Homes and Carriage Homes will be constructed of the highest quality materials, reminiscent of the turn of the century architecture that is widely found in historic areas of Raleigh and the Blount Street neighborhood.
