Try a Bike Commute between May 14-18 and you could win a commuter bike!

Just go to www.GoTriangle.org and make your online promise that you will bike to work, the bus stop, or your carpool or vanpool park–n–ride lot at least once between May 14th and 18th to be eligible to win a bike and other great prizes! The goal of this campaign is to save 1,000 drive-alone commute miles – Add your bike commute to the total!

If you are already a bike commuter, take the Bike to Work Week pledge! You’re reducing air pollution, congestion and stress for other commuters - You should be rewarded for your smart commute! Help us reach our goal of 1,000 commute miles saved. Take the pledge today!

If you’ve never cycled to work before, www.GoTriangle.org has helpful information about how to start a new bike commute, including how to plan your route, choose your gear, cycle safely, and maintain your bike. Experienced Triangle cyclists have also posted maps of their routes on this site to help you get started!

If you’re the type of person who needs hands-on help, attend the Basics of Bike Commuting lunch and learn happening in downtown Raleigh on April 24th at 12:00. A more intensive 9-hour cycling course is also being offered from April 27-29th. Visit www.GoTriangle.org for more details.
