Q: Where is the AT&T Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink?
A: The AT&T Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink will be located in City Plaza situated on the southern end of the 400 block of Fayetteville Street next to the Bank of America building and on top of the Charter Square parking deck.

Q: Where should I park?
A: There are over 5,000 parking spaces available within one block of the ice rink.

Q: What is the capacity of the AT&T Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink?
A: The rink size is 45’ x 85’. The maximum rink capacity is 140 skaters.

Q: What are the hours of operation for the AT&T Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink?
A: The rink will be in operation from December 4, 2009-January 31, 2010. The hours of operation
vary, please see the schedule section for further details.

Q:
What is the admission cost for the AT&T Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink?
A: The cost for admission is $6. This price includes the skate rental.

Q: Is the AT&T Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink available for private parties?
A: Yes. The City Plaza Ice Rink is available for field trips and private parties with advanced notice. Private parties must be booked when the rink is not open to the public. Please contact Brandi Barnhart at brandibarnhart@downtownraleigh.org for more information.

Q: Is there a discount or group rate?

Yes. If you have a group of 20 or more please contact Brandi Barnhart at brandibarnhart@downtownraleigh.org to discuss group rates.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

Q: Is the AT&T Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink a real or synthetic ice rink?
A: The AT&T Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink is the only real outdoor ice rink in Raleigh!

What do I do if my child needs help skating?
A: There are ice monitors on the ice to assist skaters that need help.

Q:
What size skates are available?
A: Skates are available from child size 9 up to adult size 14. Socks are required to skate.

Q: Can I bring my own skates?
A:
Yes you can, but the admission price is still the same.

Q: Can I bring a camera?
A: Yes! Not only will you be able to capture many memories but the City Plaza offers many unique photo opportunities.
