We're honored this month to welcome North Carolina's First Lady Kristin Cooper. Join us for AFAR's monthly Civic Kids Story Hour this Saturday at 11:00am, where we will read stories together followed by an art activity. The stories and activities will be based on a theme. AFAR stands for Activating Families Across Raleigh. "We work to make progressive activism and civic engagement accessible to all Raleigh families." Learn more at https://www.afaraleigh.com. Local educator, Deanna Hicks, will be guiding us through the activity. Arts & crafts may incorporate a variety of materials and methods, from paper crafting, paints and mixed media. Activities are designed to be appropriate for most kids ages 2+, are intended to be an exploration of the arts and focused on building confidence and fine motor skills. No registration is needed for storytime.
