The Downtown Raleigh Tree Lighting Celebration will be Friday, November 30 from 6 pm - 7 pm at a new location for 2018 – Lichtin Plaza at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Enjoy holiday music by the Oakwood Waits, Broughton High School CAPital Sound and aCAPella, and Triangle Brass Band as well as Marbles Corner Store pop-up, refreshments from lucettegrace and Fresh Outta Brooklyn sausages and pierogis and free hot chocolate from Food Lion. Santa Claus will mingle with the crowd and be available for photos along with elves from Marbles’ Evening with Elves. Airing live on ABC11, the tree will be lit by Mayor Nancy McFarlane and council members at about 6:10 pm
