LOCATION: Krispy Kreme - 549 N Person St

The Krispy Kreme Challenge is an annual, five-mile race -- organized by NC State students -- that has raised more than $1.3 million to date for the UNC Children's Hospital. What began as a dare between students has now grown to become the number one NC State student tradition. The "challenge" is to run 2.5 miles from the NC State Memorial Bell Tower to the Krispy Kreme on Peace Street, eat 12 doughnuts, and run 2.5 miles back all in less than one hour. Participants DO NOT HAVE TO EAT THE DOUGHNUTS to participate and can choose to register in the "casual" or "no doughnut" category. All money raised is donated to the UNC Children's Hospital, and the Krispy Kreme Challenge is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit. You can register or donate online at krispykremechallenge.com

Cost: $45

Presented by: Krispy Kreme Challenge (501(c)3 organization)
