LOCATION: Artspace - 201 E Davie St

Artist Jane Wells Harrison shares, “My work exploits the consequences of process. It begins with selection of materials and often a foundation of collage elements. Application of paint and fusion of the elements builds the image gradually. Additive and subtractive manipulation refines the image and adds complexity. The use of encaustic as the primary paint medium contributes the luster and allure of wax and offers me the opportunity to create layer upon layer. My ideas come from day to day routines and events in the news.” Exhibition Dates: February 2 - 24
