LOCATION: Personify - 416 S. Dawson Street

On Friday, May 4th, from 6:30 to 9 pm, Personify is pleased to present "Rap Beautician" by artist Jason Clary as part of the First Friday Art Walk. Clary will be on hand to speak with visitors about his work, which will remain on display through Monday, May 28th. An artist with talents in many fields, Clary has utilized his art direction skills for record artwork, film production, apparel / packaging design, and more. A product of NC State's College of Design, Clary has more than a decade of experience in brand development and a passion for learning new techniques & skills. Clary's show will feature art work created for the Hip Hop group Kooley High's new album "Never Come Down," as well as works from previous projects. The Kooley High collection explores themes of perseverance and the struggle of fighting for your dreams even after being knocked out. You can follow the artist and his work on his website at sollos.co Dj Triple B will provide a soundtrack inspired by Clary's artwork. Triple B has also created a mixtape composed of tracks selected by Clary. 50 copies will be given away at the show. Light refreshments will be provided.
