The Middle of Somewhere | A visual narrative of separation of urban & rural towns in North Carolina

For October's First Friday, Lumina Clothing is proud to host "The Middle of Somewhere - A visual narrative of separation of urban and rural towns in North Carolina". Caitlin Penna, a freelance photojournalist, and Taylor McDonald, a fine art photographer, come together to present a series of images about the colliding southern landscapes found in North Carolina. By illuminating the folk that reside in small towns east to west, their images reveal a clear dissonance. Caitlin and Taylor will hosting a talk at 7pm to introduce and explain the photos and individuals that comprise their project. Complimentary beer will be available. Plus, everything in the Lumina store will 20% off.
